Perfectly Planned, Precisely Measured
[10:24] The analogy of this worldly life is like this: we send down water from the sky to produce with it all kinds of plants from the earth, and to provide food for the people and the animals. Then, just as the earth is perfectly adorned, and its people think that they are in control thereof, our judgment comes by night or by day, leaving it completely barren, as if nothing existed the previous day. We thus explain the revelations for people who reflect.
[30:41] Disasters have spread throughout the land and sea, because of what the people have committed. He thus lets them taste the consequences of some of their works, that they may return (to the right works).
[15:4] We never annihilated any community, except in accordance with a specific, predetermined time.
Back on Sunday, December 26, 2004, at at 00: 58: 53 UTC a violent tilting, raising or dropping of the floor of the Indian ocean as a result of an earthquake caused a devastating huge tsunami waves that suddenly wiped off life at twelve different shores in South Asia and East Africa. The same happened in Japan, on March 11, 2011. Death, pain, destruction, physical and life changing trauma were witnessed and watched all over the world at those times.
As submitters to God alone, we should always consider such disorders as a part of a precise divine plan. Besides the fact that we are all subject to be tested in this life (2:155, 2:214, 3:154, 6:42, 7:168, 18:7, 21:35, 22:53, 23:30, 25:20, 39:49, 47:31, 76:2) and natural disasters present a powerful test that is not exclusive to the involved ones and their families, we are to remember that many of those who die during these disasters are under the age of forty and they are promised by the Almighty to go straight to Heaven (46:15-16).. Plus, there is a set and predetermined time for the termination of the life of each human on earth, being in a disaster or not (6:2, 3:145, 63:11, 6:61, 4:78). Additionally, we are to understand that it's God's system to allow a slight disturbance or a deviation from the norm just so the humans realize the precision of His plans and the perfection of His creation. Natural disasters and diseases or epidemics are perfect examples of just a slight imbalance of God's perfect systems. The majority becomes unappreciative (12:38). Only those who possess intelligence would reflect and take heed (2:269, 3:7). Only the guided ones would take the opportunity and appreciate the endless and countless perfect blessings bestowed upon us.
[3:191] They remember GOD while standing, sitting, and on their sides, and they reflect upon the creation of the heavens and the earth: "Our Lord, You did not create all this in vain. Be You glorified. Save us from the retribution of Hell.
It's out of God's infinite mercy that He sent us down to this planet for a final chance of redemption. He has designed for us a precise divine plan to recognize him and worship Him alone. According to our limited vision, that plan might seem sometimes strange, unjust or imperfect. But a knowledgeable believer will never object or question God's plans. Eventually, they all make perfect sense. The plan started by our perfect creation, and part of that perfection is the blessing of our natural built-in instinct of monotheism to direct us towards God's perfect religion.
Monotheism: Natural Instinct [30:30] Therefore, you shall devote yourself to the religion of strict monotheism. Such is the natural instinct placed into the people by GOD. Such creation of GOD will never change. This is the perfect religion, but most people do not know.
God has numerous means for us to recognize Him and choose Him as our only God. Means such as blessing us with ability to think and distinguish(55:4), sending scriptures and messengers (40:15), the precise creation of the world around us and the advanced technology and science that provide us, everyday, with signs and proofs of His existence. But most people don't know and choose to disbelieve (10:55, 7:102, 26:8).
A Great Prophecy* [41:53] We will show them our proofs in the horizons, and within themselves, until they realize that this is the truth.* Is your Lord not sufficient as a witness of all things? *41:53 The Arabic letters that compose this verse, without repetition, are 19 and their gematrical values add up to 1387, 19x73. This great prophecy, together with 9:33, 48:28, 61:9 & 110:2 inform us that the whole world is destined to accept the Quran as God's unaltered message (See Appendix 38).
[27:61] Who is the One who made the earth habitable, caused rivers to run through it, placed on it mountains, and created a barrier between the two waters? Is it another god with GOD? Indeed, most of them do not know.
[7:10] We have established you on earth, and we have provided for you the means of support therein. Rarely are you appreciative.
Awesome Construction of the Universe [40:57] The creation of the heavens and the earth is even more awesome than the creation of the human being, but most people do not know.
[67:3] He created seven universes in layers. You do not see any imperfection in the creation by the Most Gracious. Keep looking; do you see any flaw?
[55:5] The sun and the moon are perfectly calculated.
[10:6] Surely, in the alternation of night and day, and what GOD created in the heavens and the earth, there are proofs for people who are righteous.
Our creation and everything around us is perfectly designed, accurately measured and counted. Our provisions or lack of provisions are perfectly calculated for specific set of reasons that are all part of a precise plan.
[77:20] Did we not create you from a lowly liquid?
[77:21] Then we placed it in a well-protected repository.
[77:22] For a specific period.
[77:23] We measured it precisely. We are the best designers.
[25:2] The One to whom belongs all sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. He never had a son, nor does He have any partners in sovereignty. He created everything in exact measure; He precisely designed everything.
[54:49] Everything we created is precisely measured.
[72:28] This is to ascertain that they have delivered their Lord's messages. He is fully aware of what they have. He has counted the numbers of all things.
[78:29] We counted everything in a record.
Our environmental balance is another aspect of that plan to reflect on. All the physical events of our universe and all the creatures that we are able to see or not see starting from the most primitive living organism are now proven to have a significance to our biological balance and existence. But it's all for a predetermined time. It is amazing how God is teaching us in His perfect book a lot about this scientific fact.
[36:36] Glory be to the One who created all kinds of plants from the earth, as well as themselves, and other creations that they do not even know.
[13:8] GOD knows what every female bears, and what every womb releases, or gains. Everything He does is perfectly measured.
[15:19] As for the earth, we constructed it, and placed on it stabilizers (mountains), and we grew on it a perfect balance of everything.
[15:20] We made it habitable for you, and for creatures you do not provide for.
[15:21] There is nothing that we do not own infinite amounts thereof. But we send it down in precise measure.
[15:22] And we send the winds as pollinators, and cause water to come down from the sky for you to drink. Otherwise, you could not keep it palatable.
[15:23] It is we who control life and death, and we are the ultimate inheritors.
[13:2] GOD is the One who raised the heavens without pillars that you can see, then assumed all authority. He committed the sun and the moon, each running (in its orbit) for a predetermined period. He controls all things, and explains the revelations, that you may attain certainty about meeting your Lord.
[17:99] Could they not see that the GOD who created the heavens and the earth is able to create the same creations? (That) He has predetermined for them an irrevocable life span? Yet, the disbelievers insist upon disbelieving.
The following is an interesting mathematical theory to share and can be more appreciated through the knowledge of Quran.
" The flapping of a single butterfly's wing today produces a tiny change in the state of the atmosphere. Over a period of time, what the atmosphere actually does, diverges from what it would have done. So, in a month's time, a tornado that would have devastated the Indonesian Coast doesn't happen. Or may be, because of the butterfly's wing, one that wasn't going to happen, does." (Ian Stewart, Does God Play Dice? The Mathematics of Chaos, pg. 141)
[19:93] Every single one in the heavens and the earth is a servant of the Most Gracious.
[19:94] He has encompassed them, and has counted them one by one.
Thus, the seemingly "imperfect" aspects of our lives such as natural disasters, all diseases, disorders and all harmful creatures are actually a vital part of God's perfect plan for us on Earth. Only the knowledgeable will take heed (29:43, 30:22).
[59:24] He is the One GOD; the Creator, the Initiator, the Designer. To Him belong the most beautiful names. Glorifying Him is everything in the heavens and the earth. He is the Almighty, Most Wise.
[40:62] Such is GOD your Lord, the Creator of all things. There is no god except He. How could you deviate?
[6:102] Such is GOD your Lord, there is no god except He, the Creator of all things. You shall worship Him alone. He is in control of all things.
[6:103] No visions can encompass Him, but He encompasses all visions. He is the Compassionate, the Cognizant.
[64:1] Glorifying GOD is everything in the heavens and everything on earth. To Him belongs all kingship, and to Him belongs all praise, and He is Omnipotent.
